Our first match was against Bank of England and we lost narrowly by 5 tries to 3. Considering it was the kids first ever competitive match in a tournament they did fantastically well and were not overawed by the enormous pitch that they had to play on.

Unfortunately the 2nd match against Teddington Antlers ended 6 tries to 2 for Antlers but this was against a very well-drilled team who have played together for a couple of years now.

Not to be demoralised by their first drubbing, the boys picked themselves back up and enjoyed a very competitive and tight match against the hosts, Grasshoppers. This match looked certain to end in a draw until in the dying seconds Nathan collected a spilt ball just inside the opposition half and pinned his ears back to go all the way for the winning try!!
