Two of our former Colts had a tough first day at the office in unseasonably hot and hard conditions.
Fullback Calum Warmer, who has been at the club since he was five, and second row James O’Donoghue both did us proud, despite a disappointing final score of 5-49.
Chair Myles Woodley says: ‘The pathway from Colts to seniors is something we put a lot of thought into and it’s always great to see our younger players make the transition to adult rugby.
‘The fact we are turning out amazing players like Calum and James is thanks to the unstinting commitment of the coaching team, volunteers and other staff to the development of players who love rugby.’
