A surprise awaited the girls U12, U14 and U16 squads attending midweek training on Wednesday evening - Harlequins Women and England star hooker Connie Powell was present to help lead the training session alongside Lucy, Steph and other regular Harlequin Amateurs and Teddington coaches.

Excitement and nervousness were soon dispatched as the girls got down to a fantastic mixed-age group skills session, before breaking out into their regular age groups to focus on their individual goals.

Connie proved a skilled and engaging coach, with the girls thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to learn from one of the best, and of course to get some photographs at the end.
