M&Y Rugby Continues at the Wick!
The Kings Field becomes the new HARFC rugby Sunday hub.
Even without a clubhouse, there continues to be a full programme of M&Y rugby on the Kings Field every Sunday morning.
With the Halfbacks, U7, U8, U9, U10 and the U11s all training from 9 until 10:30am, the Kings Fields is alive to the sound of young players learning to play rugby. From 10:30, our youth age groups rugby take over, with the girls teams regularly clustering with London Irish and a number of other local clubs and the U14s hosting a joint training session with Old Cranleighans RFC.
The U15s hosted this seasons first home game in the first round of the Surrey Cup against Old Whitgiftians RFC. With some great rugby played from both teams, HARFC were eventual winners 33 - 7.
Despite the challenges of not having a clubhouse, the focus of HARFC M&Y remains to provide a fun environment where young players develop their skills and enjoy playing rugby the Quins way!
